Super cute Old Navy “Pop Kicks!”

Summer is definitely upon us! Old Navy is ‘kicking’ it off with this playful spot by Crispin Porter + Bogusky. The commercial features the ‘hostess with the mostess’…Wendi McLendon-Covey, star of Bridesmaids. While Wendi is certainly more buttoned up in this spot, we fondly remember her more promiscuous character Deputy Clementine Johnson on Reno 911. Take a look at the charming spot below, and check out the shooting boards by our very own Shane Carrington.

BBH & AXE…SPARKS FLY!

At first glance we’re ready to be offended, but as Daniel Johnston’s sweet notes of “True Love will Find You in the End” play and the office romance unfolds, this spot wins us over.

While staying true to the AXE roots, the creative minds of BBH New York find a way to distract us from the truth of what men really see, by turning the focus to the ladies.  They certainly walked a fine line between getting our attention and appealing to our sentimental side. Clever move, BBH. We see what you’re up to, and we like it.

It’s always such a pleasure to collaborate with the AXE team at BBH. Our artists always look forward to working on the unpredictable and exciting work that BBH brings to the table, and Angus Cameron definitely enjoyed this one.
